How long does it take to analyze dataset?
The duration for a dataset update depends largely on how many records and duplicates are included in that dataset .  A simple way to improve performance is to break up a large dataset into several smaller ones using filters.  To learn more about creating datasets and applying filters see custom datasets.

Can DataGroomr select a master record based on the specific field values?
Yes, the quickest way to set a master record based on the value is to use "Prioritize record" function in the Master Record Selection rule. DataGroomr allows to prioritize based on any field and you can stack the blocks.
