To keep DataGroomr aligned with the new June 2026 Salesforce's security requirements, we've released an updated version of DataGroomr. As part of these requirements, our package now uses Salesforce's second‑generation packaging and updated Connected App / OAuth security standards. Completing this upgrade in your org keeps you compliant and on the supported version.
You can read more about the Salesforce requirement here: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=005132365&type=1
Completing the upgrade requires updating the package by following 3 steps in the order below. Please have a Salesforce administrator perform these steps, ideally in a sandbox first if you have one.
Step 1 — Install the 1GP package v17.2 (do this first)
https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tfn000005M0ZcAAK
Wait for confirmation that the installation has completed before moving on.
Step 2 — Install the 2GP migration package (do this next)
https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tUc0000014hNZIAY
Wait for confirmation that the installation has completed before moving on.
Step 3 — Install the latest DataGroomr package v18.0

Important notes
  • Order matters — Step 1 must finish before you start Step 2 and Step 3. Skipping or reversing them will cause the upgrade to fail.
  • When prompted, we recommend "Install for Admins Only" (you can adjust user access afterward), and approve any third‑party access requests.
  • If your org uses My Domain / a sandbox, replace login.salesforce.com with test.salesforce.com in all links.
  • Each install may take a few minutes; Salesforce will confirm in‑app and by email when it's done.
We apologize for the complexity.  If you encounter any errors, please reach out to support@datagroomr.com (with a screenshot that includes any Error ID shown) and we will assist.
