Although DataGroomr is primarily designed to work with data located in Salesforce, there is a simple way to integrate external data in Salesforce itself (see Define External Data Sources). Once connected this data appears and behaves just like a Salesforce custom object. Users can deduplicate this data (see How can I deduplicate a Custom Object?), import/migrate the data to another object (see Import from Dataset) or even run periodic sync jobs (see Jobs: Task Scheduling).
