In addition to importing records and choosing whether to Create, Update, Verify or Transform records, Importer can be used to delete records in Salesforce from an import file.
First, create a new Importr dataset. Generally this can be a CSV file containing a list of records that you wish to remove from Salesforce.
Review the Matched and Unmatched records to ensure that records that you wish to delete have been matched. Records that are in the Unmatched Records section will not be deleted and/or modified.
Then, under the Mass Action Menu, click on the Mass Delete button. This button will then trigger a deletion on the records that correlate against the CSV file selected in the dataset configuration menu
