The first time you connect to DataGroomr, our algorithms will scan your Salesforce organization's leads, contacts and accounts for duplicates. 

 

TIP:  The duration of the first scan will depend on how many records and duplicates are found in your environment. You will receive an email alert when the analysis has completed.  Subsequent scans will be executed faster than this initial one.


New in 2025: A real-time progress bar now streams percentages during preprocessing and analysis, so you can monitor results as they happen. You’ll still receive an email once the analysis completes, but you no longer need to wait without feedback.


TIP:  To re-run the analysis at any time, click the UPDATE ALL button.

 

When complete, you can view the current state of your Salesforce data in the Dedupe Dashboard:



Clicking any of the tiles (or datasets), as shown in the screenshot above, will take you to a detailed list of duplicates and records for that dataset.

 

Alternatively, you can select a specific dataset from the Dedupe submenu.
